The European Business Forum, which we have had the pleasure of participating in for years, serves not only as a platform for dynamic discussions but also as a celebration of the achievements of companies that set the course for economic development.
With immense pride and joy, Veleco Sp. z o.o., as this year’s Laureate of the Highest Quality Programme – Quality International 2023, wishes to share our experiences and impressions from the Forum and Gala, which took place last week in the picturesque Krynica-Zdrój.
What is the European Business Forum 2023?
This is an annual event, born out of the need for entrepreneurs, local government officials, scientists, and media to discuss matters crucial to the economy in its various areas. EBF serves as a place for exchanging thoughts, views, and practical knowledge based on the professional experiences of managers, entrepreneurs, and local government officials. It can be a source of new solutions and inspiration for others.
The Quality International Gala and European Business Forum 2023 in Krynica-Zdrój
This nationwide business event, combined with the ceremonial Gala, took place on December 1, 2023, in Krynica-Zdrój, which additionally greeted us with beautiful winter weather. The event was full of discussions concerning issues important to all sectors related to management, ecology, medicine, and employee policy. The EBF aims to enable the exchange of experiences and knowledge between participants, meetings, and the integration of various environments: business, scientific, and local government. The guiding theme of the forum was: ‘The Economy in the Face of Change. Realities, Strategies, Perspectives.’
Partners and honorary patrons of the event
Among the partners and honorary patrons of the event were, i.e., Witold Kozłowski – Marshal of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship and Piotr Ryba – Mayor of Krynica-Zdrój, as well as the European Parliament, Ministry of Development and Technology, Polish Agency for Enterprise Development, Department of Process Management at the University of Economics in Kraków, Polish Committee for Standardization.
Awards and distinctions – Veleco with the Quality International 2023 Gold Emblem
The event also featured the presentation of awards for this year’s Programmes: Highest Quality Quality International, Leaders of Social Responsibility, and Tourist Product of the Year. Organisers also presented special statuettes such as Pearls, Golden Pearls, and Diamonds QI 2023, as well as Victory Business 2023. Veleco emerged as one of the Laureates of the Highest Quality Programme: Quality International 2023, awarding the Golden Emblem QI 2023 for the fourth time in the row in the Product category. This year, the Gold Emblem recognised Veleco COSMO – an electric-powered wheelchair.
The importance of the Highest Quality QI Programme
It’s one of the longest-standing quality competitions on the Polish market, aimed at producers, service providers, and institutions with a clear quality policy about the offered products, services or implemented management systems – organizations that can boast achievements at the highest, global level. It has been in existence for 17 years.
Fourth Consecutive Distinction for Veleco
The European Business Forum 2023 was not only a testament to innovation and progress in various industries but also a space for the development and integration of business, scientific, and local government environments. We are very grateful for both the opportunity to participate and the distinction that our COSMO received. We feel committed to continuing to strive for excellence.
The Quality International 2023 Gold Emblem for Veleco COSMO electric-powered wheelchair is not only a confirmation of the quality of our work but also a motivation for continuous development and innovation.
